50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, allegedly disclosed several different endings to Power so fans wouldn’t know what happened to the show’s lead man, James “Ghost” St. Patrick. Power Actor Claims He Has Been Sent Over 300 Death Threats However, Page Six reported that online fans thought it was someone else.
According to the media, online fans thought it was St. Patrick’s son, Tariq, who killed James. Played by Michael Rainey Junior, the actor spoke to his social media to address the group of 300 people who threatened him online about the actions of his character on screen.
On his IG account, Michael posted a screenshot of his confused face as he watched the 326 huge death threat messages he had received from social media users. Her co-star Lala Anthony commented with a face-palm emoji while Nature Naughton shared laughing emojis and face-palm emojis.
In November 2019, Naughton spoke with journalists from Page Six and explained that she could understand why her character had been able to shoot the main character. Naughton said it was perfectly understandable why her character would shoot James because she did so much for him, and he always came for her and her son.
Fans of the series know that the last season of Power will air Sunday evening around 8:00 p.m. However, 50 Cent said in June 2019 that the series would not end after the sixth season. 50 Cent is the executive producer.
On his IG account, contrary to what the media said, 50 Cent said he had “changed his mind” about Power and thought it might continue.
Oddly, many other actors, actresses and producers have expressed their disappointment at the end of this process, so it is not entirely clear what will happen at this stage. Social media fans were skeptical about whether 50 Cent really had as much influence as he suggested.
Previously, 50 Cent urged social media fans to boycott the network for not recognizing and promoting the series as much as they have done for other programs.
